Why choose Liam Goode?

Liam Goode is an expert in the field of injury biomechanics, with his specialisms encompassing spinal injuries, along with lower limb (knee) and shoulder issues.

His experience treating knee injuries is both wide and varied. He has worked with sports people of every calibre, from enthusiasts through to elite athletes, and across all major sports including cycling, rugby, football, triathlon, marathon and skiing.

Taking part in these sports leave people susceptible to developing overuse injuries, such as runner’s knee, and many are left having to undergo rehabilitation from procedures like cartilage surgery and ACL repairs. The three-step assessment Liam carries out involves learning which structure is causing pain, analysing the patient’s movement to locate the cause, and using this information to devise a suitable treatment plan.

Applying his knowledge of exercise and biomechanics, together with his wealth of manual therapy skills, Liam’s goal is to not just treat his clients’ issues, but to prevent them from returning. He is a big advocate of correcting human movement and spends much of his time locating and resolving uncontrolled movement in sports people, both in their everyday activities and during sport. The body works best when it is balanced, and this affects all avenues of our wellbeing.
